10 days Rwanda-Congo Discovery

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
On arrival at Kigali international airport, pick up and transfer to the hotel for rest and spend
the night

Day 2: Kigali city tour
After breakfast at the hotel, start the tour. Visit to Kigali genocide memorial, Richard kandt
museum, Nyamirambo women center, kimironko market then back to the hotel and overnight

Day 3: Culture corridor
Early morning after breakfast, drive to southern province to visit king palace museum,
ethnographic museum, kings mausoleum, kamegeri historical rock and a short tour in huye
city then back to Kigali and overnight

Day 4: Volcanoes national park
Early morning after breakfast, pick up from the hotel and drive to volcanoes national park for
golden monkey tracking. Drive to gisenyi. At the arrival, a lunch at tamtam beach and enjoy
boat ride. At evening cross Rwanda-Congo boarder, pick up to the hotel and overnight at the
hotel in Goma.

Day 5: Nyiragongo active volcano
Early morning transfer to Kibati Ranger Post – Trek up the volcano and overnight on
thesummit of Nyiragongo.

Day 6: Goma-tchegera
Trek down the volcano and transfer back to Goma andadd on Tchegera Island and
overnight.

Day 7: Goma-Bukavu
Early morning drive to Goma port for ferry formalities and embarkation.

in Bukavucity,chek-in at the hotel and overnight

Day 8: lowland gorilla
Wake up early and drive to Tchivanga station of Kahuzibiega national park for formalities and
lowland gorilla trekking.

Day 9: Bukavu city tour
After breakfast at the hotel, visit to the city of Bagira and to enjoy the breathtaking view of the
sunrise on its banks.
After, drive to Panzi Hospital for a short excursion to foundation Panziof the famous Nobel
prize Dr MUKWEGE. Back to Goma in a night ferry

Day 10: depart
Before leaving, a short city tour and visit some souvenir shops. Drive to Goma airport for
formalities
