3 Days rural camping with life seeing experience

Day1: Arrival in Kigali and transfer to the camp site.

Day2: First rural experience
– Ranch activities
Stay a moment with domestic animals, give them food, participate in caw milk collection, play
with them and collect the manure to bring to the farm.
– Visit to agriculture lands
Enjoy the view of landscapes made up with tea plantations and other cultivated lands, breath
clean air from farms.
– participate in farming activity
Enjoy interacting with local population (women), participate in planting and harvesting
important crops which are ingredients of the meal. Normally the grp lunch.
– Traditional food preparation
The choice of the plate to be cooked must be selected by group members basing on
available ingredients of the area visited. The mis-en-place begins with washing of ingredients
and peeling then kitchen preparation. After cooking is done, the meal is the plate is shared
and enjoyed by group members.
– Discover a group of traditional dancers in the visited area.

Day3: Second experience
– Excursion to fruits plantation
This is a specific type of agriculture that is to be discovered by our visitors as themselves
participate in planting and harvesting of fruits.
– Assist to the preparation of a local dish by a local woman
With the participation of group members, a traditional plate is prepared by a local mum.
During the cooking process she explains everything to visitors and let them try at each step
of the preparation.
– Banana beer making and testing
After food preparation, it’s now time for arranging beverages. Banana beer making is an
amazing experience that modern generations are missing. With Hostours Travel you may
discover and feel living the traditional life again. This important step starts by water collection
from a stream (River) or a nearby tap, washing bananas
– traditional games and storytelling by a selected wise person of the village at the
camp fire
Playing different games with local residents, dancing with them, having funs with them and

Day 4: after breakfast at the camp site back to kigali,
– in the way to Kigali,
a stopover to a local market, for pictures and by some souvenirs. Reach Kigali in the
afternoon, discover some arts galleries, markets and enjoy the night view of the city. Drive to
airport for departure
